I was instantly smitten and at that moment, would have happily spent $300 AUD on her. After returning home, went online to look up the prices and stumbled on a picture of VN02 Miku.
It started off when we went to attend the Supanova Melbourne convention and saw a couple of figures there that we were interested in but weren’t willing to pay $160 AUD for a World is Mine Miku or $300 AUD for a Saber Lily Golden Caliburn.
Of course, everyone already knows who Hatsune Miku is, but what is this older, bustier, sci-fier version? Slightly complicated story, but it starts off with one of Miku’s more popular songs, Moon.Īnd then, someone known as Iroha remixed it into an even more AWESOME song, the VN02 remixĪnd then, an illustrator known as Nagimisu made an awesome illustration inspired by the remixed songīear with me for a second as I ramble on about why this figure is so special to me and the journey that brought her to our doorstep and sucked us into this hobby. Today I will be looking at one of this year’s most highly anticipated figures, the 1/8 Hatsune Miku VN02 Mix by Max Factory.
